| I've been working on the designs for a VG crank trigger and cam sync for awhile now and just finalized everything to the point where prototypes are being made to be fit-tested and drive-tested this spring with public release by summer. This will be a comprehensive kit which will include all hardware needed to install on a VG (the only item a customer will need to provide is an aftermarket ECU). This is a flying magnet crank trigger with 12 magnets for easy ECU setup. The wheel will fit between the timing gear and balancer... So, it will work with ANY balancer or pulley that's been made for the VG. The crank trigger wheel will replace the OE washer that is used in this position. The timing gear needs to be machined to make some room for the wheel, so BDE will provide new Nissan timing gears, machined and ready to install (yes, you will need to remove and reinstall the timing belt to install this).  CRANK TRIGGER WHEEL.png) Some might say "there's already a crank trigger available for the VG", but do they offer a sensor mount for it?... nope. The BDE crank trigger will include a sensor mount designed to fit behind the timing cover so the sensor is protected from flinging accessory belts and road debris. Crank trigger sensor mount 3d model
 CRANK TRIGGER SENSOR BRACKET.png) Mega HP builds will appreciate this - the cam sync sensor housing that replaces the CAS has an integral mount for a mechanical fuel pump and the hex drive will be included with the kit. No more multiple, buzzing, voltage-stealing, electric fuel pumps needed to keep up with the ever-increasing HP potential of the mighty VG.
