Message	for a great great many years now. As for BMW reliability, BMW's main issues are not drivetrain related apart from new tech (SMG trannies back in 00's being an obvious example)....all the significant problems every bimmer guy I ever knew had were all electronically related or some ancillary system apart from the motor itself. I doubt Toyota is going to let BMW sink their brand image in their customers' view. If anything BMW fans should be relieved to get some "toyota reliability" bleedover.
