Most of them I have seen are centric regardless of where you get them from. I believe the major difference is the pistons. An OEM piston, if you can find one is $50...and you need 4 in front.. You can almost get an entire reman bare caliper for when one cost. I think the pistons originally were plated with nickle or chrome or both. After time that plating wears off. If you have moisture in your fluid it can result in problems. I think Centric may clean the pistons or maybe even replace with pistons of possibly inferior quality. That is my supposition anyway after I had one of the Centric remans freeze up after about 6 months. All that being said, they will do the job up until they don't. I have a couple of the cad plated remans on my car for the last 5 years and they have held up so far.
