Message	a turbo is to 'chop up' the sound waves and I think that has something to do with a converter's effect on drone reduction in a turbo. I've not heard the same thing happening on NA exhaust systems where resonators were the big drone fix and cats were less effective at noise control, and used primarily for the purpose of cleaning up the exhaust gas odors. _________________________________________________
