| Here's a few pics from the 2018 Monterey Historics. Datsun / Nissan was the featured marque this year, the first for a Japanese manufacturer, so there were quite a few running this year. There were 3 IMSA 300ZX racing Z's listed but, only 2 showed up as the Parson's entry wasn't ready in time. The pics are a work in progress and I'll be adding more over the next few days. 1979 Datsun 280 ZX approaching turn 5. 
1973 Shadow DN3 a lap or two before he tumbled down the front straight.... I think the front end lifted and then he was along for the ride.
Overlooking turn 2, new location this year. 
Turn 2 and the second of the 2 IMSA Z's entered this year. 
Another new location this year, overlooking the exit of turn 5. 
The exit to turn 5 or... When is the last time this happened...? 
The exit of turn 5 on the run up to turn 6.

1982 Lotus 91/5 overcooks it into turn 6. 
Only 1 IMSA showed for the main race on Sunday, Stillen was a no show. And... since some of the other races ran long with racing incidents during the day, this run group was cut way short. Think they only got 10 mins or so. Mid corkscrew chasing a RX-7.
