focus, fstop settings and lighting will net you thousands. Basically hiring a pro photog is a SOLID investment for many sales there. That 240Z certainly was not pristine by any measure, it was mostly preserved, not at all restored, with new seats and door upholstery. Granted it was way way nicer than probably 95% of 240Z's out there, but $40k when all said and done?? No way. Had it been RESTORED, ok I could see it costing well over $40k to restore a poorly preserved 240Z, and so the price may have some merit, but for one that was only fairly well PRESERVED? I dunno, again I think these sales are going to guys who are older, impulsive, and suck at using the web. Which is why I am already working some craigslist finds right now, lol.
