Put a jackstand on the transmission to hold up it and the engine.
dropped the front K member and some of the steering components on one side to swing all of that mess to one side to gain access to the oil pan. You will need to be able to rotate the engine to gain access to all of the rod bolts/bearings.I was able to do it in an afternoon the second time with plasti gauging and replacing.
