Like everybody else, I jumped right in and started to unbolt things, not looking at schematics until there's a problem. Getting trunk interior out w/o breaking tabs is the biggest challenge. After that, all the fasteners are in plain view except two push pins bottom rear underside. But you can feel them holding it back. Also a 10mm bolt between body and facia, front of bumper. Agree w/ Grimm: 30 min.
Cost to refinish rear fascia in Florida averages $350-$400 depending on condition of bumper. And yes, I'd leave the rock guard alone.
