Any one know of any shops in SoCal that can machine and assemble a short block..? Need to rebuild my short block... Previously was asking about a headgasket job.. well finally pulled the engine turns out that #6 cylinder had detonation and caused the HG to blow n also scared the cylinder and ruined the piston. The plug was shot n with oil.. oil in that cylinder probably caused the detonation... need a reputable place my z was makeing a little north of 850rwhp... so want to do similar build any try to salvage as much as possible if not cut a new block...I know the first thought is to go back to the builder but I purchase the engine from another tt.net member... he stated the engine was built by Kyle... anyway it made good power n would like to get it back to that level. Any help/ recommendation much appreciated!
