My Z's previous owner installed a 3" exhaust all the way from the downpipes to the muffler tips....and without an H pipe. It goes without saying that it is has a lot of drone...not to mention an unbalance between the two exhaust streams. It looks like I'll have to replace my full 3" test pipes ( inlet and outlet) with 3" to 2.5" test pipes so I can adapt an H hipe ( hopefully resonated) to the 2.5" catback muffler tubing. Can anyone direct me to a source of just an H pipe or X pipe with a true inside diameter of 2.5" ? I don't want to bottle neck the whole stream with one of those 2.25" id H pipes.
