Message	I had issues in the recently rebuilt carburetor of my C2 Corvette when they started putting ethanol in the gas. Had to use special ethanol-resistant components, which still have not held up super well. It probably does not have much in the way of short-term effects, but with long-term exposure and soaking, the older rubber materials just don't cut it. So, with all due respect to your balls, my old rubbers didn't like ethanol ;-)
