Message I've also put a TC above the turbo on the oil tube insulation and on the downstream turbo outlet pipe. The radiation affect is very significant above the turbo causing wild fluctuations depending on car speed! Downstream turbo temps are always higher than upstream (~10 deg) as expected but consistent and therefore uninteresting.

It would be helpful to know your oil sump temperature to define what's typical. Can you tell me that? Anyone??
