As they used to say, "In for a penny, in for a pound"... and its already more than a penny I can assure you that. ;-) The package came out of an 05 Cadillac CST-V and is the LS6 engine. It is essentially a C5 Z06 Vette motor with the bell housing and trans bolted to the engine instead of the rearend. Stock they're 405 HP with 395 ftlbs; but with nothing more than a set of headers, and a tune, they're an easy 425 and 420. All CTS-Vs were optioned with the Tremec T56, and this one has the preferable wide ratio 0.84 and 0.56 overdrives in 5th and 6th. And Because it was a package, it came complete with flywheel, clutch, sensors, wiring, and PCMs. Total cost was $5900 shipped. Can't call it a budget beater project anymore.
