Message	I've been considering converting my downpipes to V-band to make removal easier but had second thoughts. The band used on most of these clamps is the same as used on one of my motorcycles and they have been known to break. I've switched to a band with a preload spring on the bike's clamp and haven't had any more problems but that style probably wouldn't work good on the downpipes. I DD the Z and take it on trips so I don't really want any problems. Also most of the downpipes that I looked at with V-bands also had a section of flex pipe. I'm guessing those would be a good idea to add.
