I'm planning on replacing my turbos soon. I have a jdm auto, dual pop, 740's, stillen intercoolers, full 2.5 exhaust. I bought a factory tt manual car with z1 2560r kit. The car developed a knock right after the guy built it so he parked it for a year & I got it. It has 88mm weisco pistons, 48p heads, manual cams, & the z1 turbo kit. It was running when I got but had low oil pressure (like 5lbs). I drained the oil & found no metal or anything. My initial plan was to pull it & just rob the turbos to put on my engine. That would be the easiest option. Jdm auto with 2560r turbos. I will go with 3"dp & 3"-2.5 test pipes. Is it worth it to change over to 48p heads & manual cams, cams only? Since msp manifolds are no longer available do I dare to get ams ones? What is yalls opinion? I'll try to determine what happened to the other engine when I pull it. Just trying to get some direction.
