The RS4 and the S4 share blocks but that is about it. The RS$ revs 1500 RPM higher and makes more power. Basically the RS4 version was the test mule for the early R8 V8. MT vs AT of course. Suspension, brakes, body panels, wheels all different. Aluminum front fenders and hood to improve weight distribution, interior trim, seats...(panty dropper factor of course)... I could go on. but for me - six speed MT NA v8 with 8250 redline - although I often shift 1-2-6 - which is enough to put you in jail on any public road in North America LOL Prices are starting to run though
