Engine bays aren't usually super glossy. The paint under the hood doesn't get clearcoat, and doesn't have the same sheen as exterior paint. I love satin textures in the engine bay. Wrinkle paint is awesome, and usually very durable, but a major pain to keep clean. If you do want things to be gloss, think about how that will look with the rest of what's under the hood. Maybe you should look into shaving unnecessary mounts/items on the fenders and paint/polish them? How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?
