Message	He is saying he has the 2.5" B&B and sees no point in spending $1000 or whatever the price is, for a 3" B&B when the only difference is the piping upstream from the mufflers themselves. He is asking if his assumption is correct, the mufflers are identical, in which case it makes way more sense to just take to a competent shop to hack off the 2.5" piping and replace with 3" on the same mufflers he already has.
