Message	wires from the head unit. They both go into the amp. You will have to remove and open each enclosure, snip the signal wires at the amp coming from the radio and connect them directly to the speaker. If you have a post 1990 car no snipping will be required as all connections inside the enclosures are plug-ins. Just pull the two wires you need and make a short harness between them and the speaker,
