I tried to get my '15 Z28 insured by Hagerty and they declined to insure it. They didn't like the fact I live in Northern California and wanted to drive it 6k miles a year. Instead I went with NCM American Modern Ins. They insured my Z28 for $50k and the 6k miles a year for $95 a month $1140 yearly, $200 less per year vs. Hagerty. Also read good things about the claim process. They insured my Z for $20k agreed value for another $150 a year. They wouldn't go past $20k agreed value though, and you need to have a daily driver. NCM, as with Hagerty, do not want you driving the insured car to work.
