stuff that they don't want on their books, Hagerty has their own underwriting and usage guidelines and their own claims department. Grundy is owned and operated by Philadelphia Insurance. Hagerty's premiums are higher cause they don't push back much on claims payouts. If you submit a claim with Grundy you're going to be talking to a Philadelphia claims adjuster who doesn't know shit about cars and will tell you where to send your car for repairs. Hagerty lets you choose your repair shop and/or will literally pay you to do your own repairs. Having said that I do use Grundy for some of my cars that I don't care as much about cause it is cheaper, but a worse product.
