|Hello, a long awaited road trip has finally happened. The z has been built/finished over a year ago and has been parked barely driven since than. The project started over 5 years ago and finally came to an end. My nephews z was over 8 year old project that is finally coming to and end. The white z had nistune with no tune and needed to be towed there to dial it in.
My blue z was dropped too low initially and with the 3 inch full exhaust was too low to partake in such a lengthy road trip. Few days before we have lifted the car by an inch and re aligned it. The ride was by far more pleasant.
Left at 2 am and arrived at SZ at 9am. Much Thanks to Greg and Seb to quiz in Two cars into one day.
Highly recommend SZ for your needs as these guys are good at what they do.
My z went second and in the middle of the runs we had some drop in the fuel pressure, first took out the fuel pump controller out of the equation which did not solve the problem , second pulled the stock fuel pump and replaced it with a walbro after market pump. The issue was the original pump was not keeping up with the pressure demanded of it. The new pump performed flawlessly.
I again Thank Greg and Seb for Providing assistance and parts available to mend the issue and keep rolling with the tune.
Me and my nephew Tim had a great day, enjoyed the company of the guys, went out to have lunch and left around 6pm back to sac.
The z's made good solid 430 to 450 horses on 91 octane with around 15 pounds of boost.
here are some pictures.........
