| When I got my new Z last weekend, the owner, who'd only had the car for a year before knocking up his wife and being told he had to sell, wasn't sure when the t-belt had last been changed. No biggie. I'll just plan for that being one of the 1st things I do... Fast forward to yesterday as I'm going through the interior and I discover the original Nissan-installed t-belt replacement sticker (that they place on the drivers' side cover) The ink had long since rubbed off, but as the tag is metallic, you could still read the writing: 68,111 miles (which is less than 30k miles ago) BUT... 2002! So... 16 years old. Needless to say, I won't be driving this her any more until I'm driving straight to get the 120k service done. Bummer. :-( In the mean time, I'll have to satisfy myself by installing all the various trim pieces and bits that I have on their way. :-) On a happier note, after a week of driving, aside from getting a code 45 twice, she's run flawlessly and passed CA smog w/ flying colors! I think I got a pretty good deal. Woohoo!
