Yes, it had a rod knock. Kid that bought it spent 4,200 on a new short block. I talked to the guy that did the job and they installed all the goodies and the heads with cams back on it. I have confirmed all the parts. Needless to say it is a stock bottom end. I have a fully prepped, forged short block sitting in the shop that is probably going back in it. The shop that did the swap threw away the custom pistons, eagle rods and the block. Why they did not fix the rod and install a new crank is beyond me. Kid put less than 1000 miles on it after that and it was never boosted past 8 or 9 lbs as it had serious boost and vacuum leaks. Other than that the car is as Mike sold it.
