| are a PITA to drive in no less than 50% of typical road situations, and overkill for 99% of what they are actually used for. I do recall many years back GM offering a low-speed 4WS system, I think they called it "magnasteer" (they always have some gussed up name for the most mundane things) on the Tahoe/Suburbans and that struck me as very useful feature, and of course it went away because dealerships wouldnt order it because then they have what APPEARS to be the identical Tahoe on their lot as the dealer across town except theirs is $1500 more......abject stupidity.
