First, go to a real locksmith... not Home Depot, or even Nissan for that matter. They're not set up for cutting anything harder than brass and tend to be clueless for key cutting in general. The locksmith I deal with tells me that it's not a problem to cut Ti, he cuts steel keys all the time and the material isn't harder but lighter. Have them cut a cheap blank and check that it works on all your locks. If there's a problem, then you haven't messed up your Ti key. On my 'vert, we had to modify the cut and polish the cheap blank a bit to work with all my locks as my stock keys were all worn down. Then have them cut the Ti blank from the new key which will be a better copy than an old key.
