Message from a lightspread standpoint, i would think that a bulb with the diodes on all sides of the post would be best but not all of the manufacturers do this. I have been eyeing the Hikari kit because it is 9600 lumen, 6k white, and uses the CREE XHP50 dies.. also looks like they put the diodes on both sides of the post. I would not go with some off brand that doesnt tell you which diode they are using. The Auxbeam uses the same CREE chip as mentioned and looks like a good one but less lumens than the Hikari, and not sure about the diode positions on the post.
