it acting as a torque multiplier. I considered installing Leader gears when my car was more stock, but glad I didn't. Now with E85 and still stock auto turbos I'm using a fairly low stall torque converter and seem to have plenty of torque for my usage. The approx. 2500 rpm stall speed is way too low for drag racing, but I really like it for the driving I do. If I wanted to run drag radials maybe I'd do things differently but with the tires I recently installed, I don't need lower gearing in my opinion.
