Message	the same transmissions that the NA's had. These early transmissions could not handle the power of the Twin Turbo (TT) engine. Later Nissan installed stronger transmissions in the TT models. The TT's also had the transmission cooler built into the radiator. When the transmission went out fluid would ruin the radiator. My transmission went out and I installed a 1995 spec'ed transmission and an external transmission fluid cooler. :
