Message More on that when I actually finish it (likely, never) but I don't want them to affect the ECU signal.

Since opamps are high impedance (and assumed 0 input current) they are essentially isolated. I used several set up as a 'voltage follower', essentially it replicates the input signal without affecting the reading.

LM741 is a very common op amp, if you get more going on you can buy a chip with multiple in it such as the LM324.

Then I use several more to merge and modify the input signals depending on what goal I am trying to accomplish. (Being vague as I intend, hopefully, to market the design)
