Subject	TT built in 11/89...soft valve problem ?

Message	Ran search...and found out that before Dec. 11, 1989 ( engine manufacture date) it is possible the engine has the soft valve problem. If a car has a manufacture date of 11/89 (November) the engine would have had to be built before this so the engine would be ready to install in the car. The serial number of the car is 000727. Is it likely the car has the problem ? No receipts or history indicating any valve work was done under warranty or out of warranty.
