Message If there is enough material in your oil to clog a filter, would you prefer that material going directly through your brand new $3k+ turbos? I wouldn't.

Benefits of in-line oil filters are that they are accessible and serviceable. They can be removed and cleaned and inspected. If after engine break-in you decide there is a risk involved by running them, you can remove them. They're cheap insurance IMO.
