| The only reason "flex fuel" vehicles remain in some manufacturers' model lines is because until this year, they could fudge their CAFE requirements compliance figures by offering flex-fuel cars. Once the redesigns roll in over the next few years with new engines, you can expect to see them disappear probably in their entirety, with even more pumps not too far behind. Innovation is never legislated, it is driven by REAL need and/or market forces. That concludes the E85 case study. Class dismissed.
