Nissan will be unveiling the new Z concept at the Tokyo auto show on Oct. 27th this fall. There could be a leak of a pic of it sooner, but Nissan has really kept this one secret. Nobody knows if Nissan really listened to Jay Leno 4 years ago. At their asking, he told designers to go back to light, quick, and affordable. The new Z will be lighter, quicker, but I don't know how affordable. $50k for a twin turbo just sounds expensive to me...even though it probably isn't, relative to what the Z32 cost in 1996 ($45,422). We've just gotten used to the depreciated cost of the Z...and the availability of reasonably priced mods...so $50k sounds expensive. We also don't know how much the internals of the new Z will support modding...but I doubt as much as the Z32 could handle. So here is an interesting question to the TT dot net people: Would you pay $50,000 now for a brand new Z32 if you could buy one ?
