Long story short I bought a 94 tt swap about a year ago. Clear was peeling. I've spent the last several months addressing problems & things the previous owner umm left out. Anyway I'm balling on a budget so it'll be going to macco. I know they aren't known for show quality paint jobs but I don't have a show quality car either. The one around here actually has good reviews. So far I've removed everything I could & sanded the car with 80 grit & filled a few door dings. Then followed with 180 grit. Thursday I'll hit it again with 400. I'm planning on going with their single stage with the urathane vs a base clear. I know the key to a decent paint job is in the prep so I hope it turns out decent. Has anyone here had them spray anything for you?
