Message unit to produce. And it’s not even designed to be easy to produce. I guess having about 1/3 fewer parts than a traditional car helps. They are talking about the motor lasting a million miles.

The Barclays article talks about them downgrading the electric grid sector due to competition with residential solar. Solar panels are getting so cheap that the utilities are losing a lot of business. This article is old, (a bit of a classic) and this issue has progressed at a faster rate than they anticipated.
