1992 TT. Runs and drives but needs some TLC. Happy it made the hour long drive home without blowing up. Could smell burning oil the entire trip. No overheating. No oil in the coolant. Bone stock and actually boosts well, but engine makes a lot of noise, mostly from lifter ticks but also from down low. Will be interesting to see how bad it is when I tear everything out. Engine is not stock, someone did a hackjob when swapping in what I'm guessing is a JDM engine. Wiring is a mess. Looking forward to what I'll find. Good thing I have a spare VG30DETT in the garage. Goal is to get her mechanically sound with mild performance upgrades. Cosmetics will be addressed down the road. I will be building this Z for a friend of mine who is a fellow enthusiast and former Z owner. Excited to be wrenching on a Z again. It'll definitely prompt me to do some wrenching on my own Z (mainly to install my cats to pass CA smog). Let the spending begin! On to the (low quality) pics:
