Message	I just got an estimate for similar work; I had a local shop quote a color change from ratty OEM Super Black to Cadillac Black Diamond Tricoat, including door and trunk jambs. I was quoted 7.6K, here's the scope of work on that quote: -Remove & reinstall trim, molding, door panels, etc. -Sand, fill, block whole car, with metalwork on 3-4 deeper dents -Remove rock guard from rockers and rear bumper -Shave rear wiper and antenna -Rust repair < 6 sq. in. on roof near windshield -Spray primer and three-stage paint (base color, tint coat w/flake, clear coat) Given that, it sounds like 9K for a more basic paint job is not the best deal you can get.
