Message I've got a 99 fascia that is peeling after being 'professionally' painted with Dupont materials.
Because the JDM fascia is untreated/unprimed, it needs a good prep. I would recommend another wash with wax and grease remover after scuffing with scotchbrite. Make sure to scuff in the hard to reach corners, on the wheelwell faces, underneath and in the inset body line, that is where it will start peeling from poor prep.
Adhesion promoter, flex primer, base coat, flex clear coat.
I'll be doing the next one myself with single-stage PPG urethane, same as my 25 year old 240Z paint job. It has a urethane air dam that looks as good as when I painted it, and it has run down cones in autocross.
