The mold agent is hard to remove, after the wax and grease remover Then apply a adhesion promoter(bull dog ) before priming. Then add flex additive to your primer, base as directed by manufacturer. The clear normally does not need it , unless your using ultra cheap stuff, then its brittle..Don't mix and match primers , bases , clear , stay with one brand. Follow their recommendations. I personally use PPG, but that is me. Don't use the cheap stuff. it normally comes and bites you..
