I run a 275/35/18 on a 9.5+35 and have no problem with rub with just a moderate roll. It'd probably come down to finding a tire with a bit straighter sidewall or slightly narrower section. Look at the tire where it rubs as well as the fender. You might be able to get a bit more clearance with a bit more roll.
