Message	Raspberry pi with a can shield? Python, c++, node.js? QT for front-end? How are you handling the can addressing? I've started designing them as libraries so that the core program is the same but swapping libraries can create support for various ECUs. Libraries include addressing, data type conversion, byte swapping (if needed) and mapping into final variables. A definition block will let the end user pick the ECU via a number (eventually a drop down) so it handles which library gets used. I've not got very far as I'm deep into a full house renovation but I've been toying with it on my free time. Very curious to hear more about yours if you're interested in talking about it.
