Wonder why SPL never made the pivoting arms like in this old post from 2012; [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2513517/New-SPL-FUCAs.html ]The problem with all the FUCA's available is not inherently the locking mechanism. That's just a bandaid fix. The real problem is that the arm needs to move in a second axis to operate. The stock arm lets it move in this secondary arc due to the flexing of the bushings. Any arm that uses solid bearings, or tough poly bushings, will be strained as it moves if it can't move in the secondary arc as the suspension is compressed. The old SPL design looked great. And I think Unique Motor Sports also makes a 'pivoting' arm design. Vinnie
