Yea, I definitely wouldn't recommend using that transmission in a Z32. QuickTime sells bellhousings that (seemingly) effortlessly mate the 3.5 EcoBoost to several transmission choices - even a t56. Would be interesting to see what the EB is capable of with that kind of gearing. I've read through a couple of ecoboost swap builds and both adapted the engine's original ecu to make it work. Alternatively, I think the $2000 "control pack" from Ford is designed to make it work with a manual transmission in a non-native chassis.
