Message long before the car was wrapped around it.

I spoke to Yama at length about it and the VG30DE(TT) was a running running motor in the Mid4 concept(s) long before the Z32 went to the drawing board. The design team knew which motor was going into the car and what the size constraint was. It was the feasibility team that had to bless that the car design could be wrapped around the drive line. The motor was substantially complete by the mid 80s.
