and the Leader 4.10 gears is about 500 RPM's in all gears if I remember correctly. Yes, to some, that can be significant and will also depend on driving style and where you drive. I have 4.10 gearing in my TT and would likely never go back to stock TT gearing. 4.10 are too much fun with stocker turbos. I don't freeway drive and I drive aggressively a lot, so for me, they are a BLAST. Especially combined with a lightweight crank pulley, lightweight flywheel and carbon fiber driveshaft. Yeah, first gear doesn't last long, but so what!!! FWIW
