If you want mine: It is difficult and quite expensive to achieve that on these cars. I wouldnt say I have buyers remorse, but I dont see myself ever building a V6 again. No replacement for displacement. Example: You can get a 5.3L for $500. It is essentially a cast iron block version of the LS1; so it loves boost. If you blow it up, no big deal. Find a silverado(or a multitude of other high production Murican vehicles) and pull the 5.3 out of it. This is a primary reason why LSX Willys ran one. Theyre easy to find, anyone can work on them, and parts are both plentiful and cheap. A turbocharged 5.3L will make good tq down low and hp to carry it up high. All for the fraction of the price of a built VG30.
