If you are, please mention how it was affected by increasing the temperature and altering the flow of the air cooling it. I read once in an Australian publication, that tube-and-fin cores with their rounded tubes and better aerodynamics, were better at preserving a/c function, than bar-and-plate cores with their flat face square tubes. Here in the US only HKS and Greddy offered tube and fin ICs. Both of those are now out of print. While T-&-F are better at passing air, supposedly they were also less efficient at cooing, perhaps reason B-&-P has essentially replaced them.
