into a Triumph Spitfire a while back. I have several old issues on the buildup, it may give you some good info an problems you may run into if you want to look at them.... What tranny are you going to use? I don;t think the B's will take that kind of power. My dad found some info on adapters to let you mount a 280ZX 5-spd tranny to the MGA block, which I believe is very simialar to the B, in fact I thihk you can drop a B motor into the A. The 280ZX tranny will no doubt handle more power and I bet that B has only a 4-spd being old, so the 5-spd will prolly give you beter acceleration and lower rpm's on the highway, best of all worlds.
