You make a good point. If it comes time to sell, I'm confident the car would speak for itself well. I also hate hearing people say "chassis has X miles, but the motor is only X miles." Unfortunately, when I got this car the engine was blown and irreparable. Aside from that the history is mostly unknown, but I did track down the older gentleman that had the car for many years before the guy I got it from. It didn't seem like much had changed during that period, besides the engine dying. I had to pickup a new donor engine. I decided to not take any chances and rebuild and reseal it to save any future headaches. I do see your point, and appreciate the feedback. Original transmission had some bad syncro's, so I did replace it at one point with another that I was informed had ~70k miles on it. It's been solid.
